Water Treatment Chemicals

Water Treatment Chemicals

Antiscalants are chemical compounds that are added to water to prevent or reduce the formation of scales or deposits that can damage equipment and hinder the efficiency of the treatment process. They are also known as scale inhibitor agents. Antiscalants are used in the Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification process to prevent the RO membrane from scaling. They are widely used to avoid scaling by salts like silica, iron, barium sulfate, calcium carbonate, and gypsum.
